    广州的三年展办得蛮红火的。上回Koolhaas和其同伙也来凑热闹,那插在民居的美术馆建起来,还真有点意思。这次三年展又开幕了,贾教授去看,拍回一张照片,说有个古巴艺术家的装置作品“My library”, your book is displaced. 咋看这照片,可不是,其他书连名也看不清,唯独这本Building a Revolution 赫然在灯光下。南美人艺术蛮厉害的,他这样摆,是挑到哪本摆哪本,还是要看看书名内容的咧?谢谢贾教授啦。

   收到贝思兄电邮时,我正斜靠在北京新大都饭店的床上,看李伯斯金的 “破土”,李先生一家经历如此丰富曲折,他写得又有点卡夫卡式的跳跃诙谐,是难得的好书。我心里牵挂着看到一半的书,半夜起来再看,沈思良久,对李大师的敬意油然而生。Anne小朋友赠我此书,真是红粉送对佳人矣。清华大学出版社一年出10本这样的好书,对社会真是有贡献了。“建造革命”希望是这10本中的一本。悦怡同志,仍需努力。

   北京的亚洲建筑会议上,有澳大利亚建筑师介绍他在广东Nankun设计的一个乡间度假村,那自然材料的做法,那山水的静谧,吸引全场观众。这个作品我在新加坡杂志上见过的,可惜都是英文,问那澳洲建筑师,他也讲不出个具体地方。Nankun, “南昆”?,我在网上的珠三角地图咋就是找不到呢? 琢磨着去广州看Koolhaas 作品,去Nankun住一晚。喉痛一止,立马出发。

    "building a revolution" is in its fair place. It is a basic English reading for anyone who wants to enter the field of contemporary Chinese architecture. I expect its Chinese edition.

This really a fair of art fair, I’d already been to the Singapore and Venice Biennale. Wish I have the luck the visit both GZ and Shanghai once as well.
