Message of Santa

‘Silent night, holy night; all is calm, all is bright…’

His name escapes me.

Yep, there’s obvious seasonal difference in Nottingham but here’s still like a countryside, not as flourishing as some big cities. The blossoms thrive in spring and summer, and the types of flowers change in every season so the scene is superb. This year, the snow comes earlier and fiercer. There’s heap of snow outside my bungalow but it’s another brillant view. If Dr. Xue gets spare time, you can check the photos from Kelvin’s facebook.
Some people said it seldom snowed in Notts. in the past, only snowed 1 to 2 days per year. Is it true, Dr Xue? And I’m interested in where you lived when you were teaching here. Do you remember it? =]

    • Hi, Rebecca. Will meet you and Kelvin in facebook. The British and European towns are highly influenced by the ‘garden city movement’ after the war. So even in the poor district, the streets look like Kowloon Tong in Hong Kong. The parks, streets, market place of Nottingham impress me very much. If you can, you should find job there after graduation.
